Lili & Mimi, sisters and winemakers

Since 2023, the vineyards, orchards and wines of Terres du Château d’Aix have been carried forward by two sisters, Aurélie and Myriam. Heirs to a family legacy founded in 1983 by their father-in-law Joël Vigouroux, they bring a modern and feminine spirit to this historic land in the Lot Valley.

A living heritage

The estate covers more than 60 hectares of clay-limestone hillsides where vines, plum orchards, oak groves and pastures coexist in harmony. This polyculture approach nurtures biodiversity, enriches the soils, and ensures the resilience of the ecosystem.

The spirit of Cahors

Here, Malbec finds its finest expression in the Cahors appellation. On these clay-limestone slopes, it produces wines that are both powerful and elegant, marked by depth, freshness, and a true sense of place.

Organic commitment

Certified organic by Ecocert, Terres du Château d’Aix cultivates its vines with natural treatments, grass cover and eco-grazing with sheep. The winemaking process remains as respectful as the vineyard itself: indigenous yeasts on some cuvées, minimal sulfites, and careful work to let the terroir fully express itself.

More than wine

Beyond Malbec, the estate also celebrates other flavors: Agen prunes from our orchards, homemade aperitifs, and moments of sharing during tastings and visits, always warm and convivial.

At Terres du Château d’Aix, wine is more than a drink – it is the story of a land, a family,
and a passion passed on from one generation to the next.
